Cadillac Ranch sarging. Ignoring targets
http://www.fastseduction.com/masf/24/285509/
I went sarging solo at Cadillac Ranch in Bartlett, IL. It's a 4am place so I got 4 hours of sarging in even though I rolled in a 11:30PM. When I first started sarging, I was able to keep track of how many sets I opened, but nowadays, I open so many that most of them blend in together. I can count 8 sets of some significance. I'm not including girls I just said, "Hi" to as they walked by or guys that I opened.
Girls waves me off and I laugh:
I remember walking by this set. I tried to open them and this brunette who was probably an HB7 or 7.5 at best waved me off as if I were nothing. In my early days, I probably would have been devastated for the rest of the night, but I actually busted out laughing when she did the wave. I guess I'm able to laugh b/c I'm starting to really believe that I have something to offer these girls. Also, I know total blow offs like that are rare. I've talked to way hotter girls than this one and they usually have the courtesy to at least listen to the opener.
Lesson: Another example of how rejection really doesn't matter. It was that girl's loss. I've stayed in sets for a good amount of time with girls hotter than her.
Lone wolf HB8.5 (for example):
I see a cutie walking off the dance floor so I follow her and see her standing near the bar. I opened her by saying something like, "Hey, what's up? How come you're not getting crazy on the dance floor?" She replied that she was getting a drink. I then did the tent opener on her. I don't remember her exact response, but I believe she said she wouldn't date a guy that lived in the tent. Even when I did my little tent patter, she said no. (I say something like what if a Brad Pitt lookalike walked in and you made eye contact with him . You start to get that butterfly feeling in your stomach and when he walks over you find that you're completely comfortable with him. You're telling me if you clicked well with him and weeks later, you find out he lives in a tent, you'd ditch him?) Usually, girls admit at this point that they would date the guy. Anyway, I think it hurt me that the bartender took her drink order as I finished the opener. When she got her drink, she turned to me and said that she was going to go find her friends, but she hoped that I find what I'm looking for.
Lessons: You have to really demonstrate value quickly with hotties as they tent to walk away fast, especially if they are distracted. I need to remember to use negs with them. I find that I run the same game on UG's, HB7's and HB8+. I need to use the negs with HB8+ as that's a good way to bring them to my level and DHV.
Ignoring the target & don't eject:
Today, I saw a great example of how well ignoring the target works. Too bad I didn't take advantage of it. Early in the night, I saw this tall blonde who was probably an HB9. I knew she was hot, but at first, I wasn't sure how hot b/c I know that I'm really attracted to tall, thin blondes. Friends tell me that I tend to overrate them, and I'm aware of that, but I later realized this girl was really hot. Dudes were approaching her constantly on the dance floor. She was with this short HB7 brunette who wore glasses. Thinking back on this set, I did some really dumb things, probably b/c I was intimidated by the HB9. I think it's because she was totally my type. I can go up to really hot brunettes and not get nervous b/c they aren't my type.
Anyway, I was walking when I saw this set come into my field of vision. The two girls were facing the dance floor and I was walking away from it. I stopped when I was next to the brunette and turned my head and opened the brunette. Instead of opening with, "Can I get female opinion on something. Would you date a guy that lived in the tent?" I decided to bust on them for not dancing and having a good time. I'm still not sure if this is a good opener, but I used it several times tonight. I had just opened a set earlier with the tent opener so I guess I was sick of it. HB7 said that they just got there and she said she didn't dance. I think I asked her if her drink was a Diet Coke as I wanted to bust on her for not drinking. She said it was an alcoholic drink and then I made some small talk.
The entire time I was talking to HB7, I ignored the blonde. I looked at her a few times (her face) but I kept talking to the brunette like I didn't care. I think I was doing well up to this point but I didn't really know how to work this well so I ejected early. I figured I'd go talk to them later. In retrospect, I should have just kept plowing, though I still had chances later.
Snooze you lose:
I see that set about 10 minutes later and the first set of guys apparently had opened her. Some guy in a stripped shirt was making out with the blonde. I thought to myself, is he a PUA? He seemed to be doing well but later on I saw that he got busted out. He even tried to move in at the end of the night but he seemed to get busted out then too.
Opened the same set on the dance floor:
I see them dancing on the dance floor. I see several different guys approach and get busted out. Later, when I see them alone, I decide to go up. I know I have no dance moves but I figure I owe it to myself to at least say something to them. I went up to the brunette and said, "Hey, what's up? It looks like you two are finally having fun. BTW, I thought you didn't dance?" HB7 said that she normally doesn't, but I think it was BS and these two were dancing almost the entire night. (I only saw them off the dance floor twice. I saw them coming back from a drink break later on and they ditched some AMOG by going to the bathroom but that were the only breaks they took. There wasn't any other chance to really talk to them other than the drink break that I missed.) :(
After the brunette responded, I was getting ready to walk away when the HB9 decided to get my attention. She put her fists up to play-fight with me. I just said, "Hey, you don't wanna mess with me, I'm trained." Then, I stupidly walked away. In retrospect, I should have negged her and then said I can think of several things I could have said.
1) I know I've been ignoring you, but I know things would never work out between us. Then I could bust her for something.
2) Okay, you're right, I've been ignoring you. You have 30 seconds to tell me something interesting.
3) I could have went into an opener or routine, though it felt weird as I was in the middle of the dance floor.
Lessons:
-I finally got to experience how ignoring the target works. Every time I get a new technique to work, I am just amazed to see that I can make this stuff work. I felt like this the first time I did "Best Friends Test." I also felt like this when I used my first back turn. (I ran the ESP test on a girl one time and she had said it was too easy. She then challenged me to guess her number, a number between 1 and 30. I had told her she was over analyzing it and she kept persisting so I back turned her and she re initiated the conversation and dropped the topic.)
-I shouldn't have ejected. Some guy was able to make out with the HB after my first approach. There was no reason to eject from the first approach. It was dumb to eject when the HB9 finally decided to get my attention.
-Wings would help but I still have to try even if I don't have a wing.
UG sets:
I talked to two UG's for a good amount of time. I probably should have tried a #close, but I didn't really care. I let the first one stall, so I should have number closed for practice before that happened. Sometimes I wonder if I set my standards too high.
